Nigel, this is nice capture that transmits the feeling we have when we hike in the forest with the sunlight filtered by the trees and leaves. I like the image. Since you state your goal was the trail, I took the liberty to crop the image a little. There is some green between the tree on the right and border that creates some distraction. I also darkened a little bit the lighter upper part of the image and increase the contrast a little. Let me know what do you think.

This is a great capture Mike and I also think your crop is helping to highlight the sandhill crane in "his full lenght". I agree with Tom that it looks a little soft. I used Topaz to sharpen my image like this one and it does a great job.

Hi John,
thank you for commenting on my image. Unfortunately, I don't have a sharp image of the main subject without the two people. However, as mentioned in my description, they are not there for adding a sense of scale, but in my humble because they add to the story.

I Theresa, thank you for taking the time to look and comment on my image. I agree that having Edoardo more sharp could have provide something to compare. Unfortunately, I have only images with him still but no zoom effect. However, considering my original intention, having him a little fuzzy along the edges can contribute to the story.

John,
This a beautiful panorama image. You captured beautifully the essential of the place and there is just the right amount of clouds. The image looks so natural and this to me is a plus.
Really well done.

Ted,
this is a beautiful and classic scene and you have nicely captured it. I am always surprised on how good phone camera are becoming. However, I have noticed that they still have trouble to manage high contrast images like this one. Indeed, in my opinion the sun is completely burn out and there is a sort of "greenish halo". The sky to me also looks "fake" in the way is too much saturated.
Just my two cents thoughts

I can just echo comments from Theresa about this image Tom. I really love it. Composition is spot on and it is also very original by showing 3 different style of architecture. Colors complements each other beautiful. All together a very interesting image and hope it did well

Hi Tom, thank you for your comment. As you mentioned I wanted to provide a different image of a well known and photographed location. About your question, I did not paste the figure. He was staying static. The Nikon Z camera have a very effective stabilization system. I also use all tricks I know trying of not moving too much. I had few attempts and this one is the one that worked better.
