I like this image. It reminds of a Sit Com we had up here called "Corner Gas" filmed in a small rural town where the town finally acquired an ATM and all the residents seemed to gather at the ATM to socialize as it was the meeting place (they called themselves "the ATM people" Never used it nor did they shop so the owner of the business removed it. The buildings were not as impressive, The lines did not exist which I think makes your image stand out. I would not wait in a line that long either. |

You caught the action of the player with the sack, but wonder why the others were cut off at the head (one exception, I also like the colour one better. |

I agree with Bev in that a few steps back might have reduced the tilt in the image. I like the "expression" of and direction the statue is looking, (pose) makes on wonder what is it thinking, if it could think. |

Actually this is not a bad sports picture of an amateur event. The fence is likely something you could not change .You have stopped the action and based on the angle you had it would have been almost impossible to capture the face of the batter. I wonder if you had used a slower shutter (not much slower) and 3 or four burst shot you might have caught the batter in mid swing with some motion blur and perhaps a streak of white as the ball passed him. The catcher in your image is sharp and I don't think he woud have been blurred. Just some food for thought. |

This is a good desert scene, it shows the harshness of the land well and is well framed and balanced The clouds make the overall scene as one that draws attention and leads one through the image. I think a bit more contrast on the ridge would also draw one through the landscape. If before this month is past and if Arthur stops acting up in my hand I might try to do that to see the effect. Good Job. |

I had a hard time with this it is over sharpened as well, taken with my work camera which was 3.5mp |
