I had to look twice to see evidence of the man, and once I saw it many possible stories come to mind, is he from the small village or farm visible on the left or if not where is it going, It captures a way of life alien to most of us and a moment in time that is part of the life. A good and interesting image. |

The image has the look of the old grainy images of days past and that in my mind suits it well. I would not change anything, Well done// |

A good shot of a what I think is part of a wet market. The timing worked out well featuring the attention of the butcher to what he was doing, Perhaps I would have cropped the top a bit along the hanging rail and made some tonal adjustments ( toned down) to the Piece of meat he is holding. |

I like this image, the story it conveys, the composition, and the colours. It is well done. I think I would remove the centre light as it provides a bit of a distraction. This in my mind is an example of a scene where the rule of composition relating to balance (it is a bit heaving on the right side) would not apply nor should even be considered. |

No contest, the BW is much better and creates an almost abstract view of the tree looking up. Well done. |

I agree this is a good image and shows the individual well. I also agree and think the bright background on the right side is somewhat distracting. This in my mind is better in the colour version as it does provide a bit more features to the man's face which provides a bit more character to the man. I think Ed's comment of toning the face is a good suggestion. |

A very nice pastoral image. Well composed . I think perhaps a slight cropping on the left and a bit along the top would make the "ground" elements a bit more prominent and coupled with some toning adjustments to the ground elements the image would pop right out of the screen and still maintan the dreamy look Melissa referred to. |

A nice image that worked well in BW. I agree with Melissa on toning down the bright background slightly, particulary the white protrusion near the top left corner. With s shutter speed of 1/800 he must have been flipping the headstock on the quitar quite a bit as the headstock shows motion blur that adds to the image. |

I do not think you can fix the "slanting" to any great degree, and even at that it would I think have a negitive effect on the centre building. My guess is you used a lens around 15mm and took the shot from a level above the floor. the centering of the building with the people around it stands out . I might try to add a bit of contrast to the people although due to scale that might be time consuming and likely very little gain. The BW is perfect for this image when compared to the original. |

Again this image lends itself to BW and it shows the facility and it's state well. I had a hard with the women in the scene until I read your description. your paste job worked out nice , and created a very nice image. |
