Rich, this is scary photo you have taken here. My training in dealing with wildlife is when their hair is standing up, back off. Especially bears and wolves. The bridge of his nose does create a problem for the photo and I don't have an answer for that. You are a brave photographer. |

As others have mentioned the starburst and its brightness have captured this photo. But its brightness has blown out the photo. I tried to bring out detail to the shadows under the bridge but everything I tried only increased the existing brightness. I do like the clouds Hoshedar has added as it builds on the starburst. |

I prefer the colored one. I see you mastering the new z9 camera by looking at this photo. Tones in the geometry jumped out to me and the colors in the flowers provided a nice contrast. Well done Hoshedar! |

Very well done. Light painting usually creates spill over to the background of light and blending of shadows between the subjects. I don't see that here. Your subjects are very sharp and very detailed with color, blemishes, baskets and leaves. Great job. |

Barbara, Very creative, had to look several times to see what I was seeing. The only thing lacking would be where is his/her feet? |

Tom "A Walk in the park in the fall" is a favorite for many! Your subject depicts this well. I would crop out the tree on the left that has lots of light on it. I would darken the pavement from the lower left to the subject and I would use a radial gradient or some other way of increasing the color and saturation of the subject. I think this would take and keep the viewers eye on the subject and not on the tree that would be cropped. Nice fall photo, my favorite time of the year, |

Barbara,
Thanks for comments,I am sure he will enjoy your description of him, especially alive and intelligent. The ring is definitely a problem. I tried several attempts to blend it with his pipe and I like your idea of crop. I removed the ring.

Hoshedar,
Thanks for your comment. Max is a happy chap and much appreciates his comments about him. Your comment is well taken and I have experimented with the brightening of his photo. I had to be careful with increased lighting around tones leading to shadows around the nose, mouth and jaw. Thanks for your comment and photo revision. |
