I had not thought about the size of the foreground but I think you are on to something there. I will try some modifications. |

I do like the elevated brightness. I mostly shoot on the dark side and I have made a note to check brightness in the future.. |

Thanks Tom, reversing the photo certainly contained the eye movement. |

I like black and white photography and the subject where the railroad tracks meet at infinity. It has always been a favorite. The photographer did a very good job of positioning for taking this photo. The dark colors in the photo are hard on the eyes and hide the shadows that could enhance the photo. Maybe more midtones and contrast could help. I liked having the people in the photo which added some depth. |

The rippling water in the foreground took my eye to the reflection in the water and lead me to the glowing sun through the clouds. The silhouettes of the buildings, the diffused glow and light rays lead me to believe there was pollution in the air that morning. I liked the capture of all the different buildings architecture and their spacing in the photo. Nice job. |

Nice peaceful night colors with northern lights create a sky that enhances the mountainous cliffs ,clouds and forests. I like the colors in the sky and the glow at the top of the cliffs. |

I like the reflection of the golden weeds on the trees, and anchoring the top and the bottom of the trees are the blackened remains of a fire. Black and gold go well together.
The people seem to be taking it in and providing some perspective in size to the surroundings. The colors of the sky fit well and looks like brewing storm.
Cellphone photos have come a long way. |

This rail car is showing its age and black and white helps to show the age. This car
may have been painted several times where you can see shadows of several layers of paint. The car shows evidence of stress on the rivets probably caused by load shifts caused by starting and stopping. I like how to photographer kept all the identifying numbers in the photo which gave to photo some subject clarification. Nice! |

Lots of lines and triangles in this photo. They become anchor points for the viewers eyes. The tires pointed to the viewer ,the missing headlight and any other item on the truck become part of the triangles. All of the shades and tints from aging came into play for establishing a nice mood. Nice capture. |
