Nice detail and exposure on the owl. Your choice of a textured background works well. You might try blurring and darkening the background a bit. Would dodging in the eyes a bit bring more attention to them? |

The capture of the star burst is well done. The long shadows from the trees bring me into the image. I think cropping on the left to leave just the two tree trunks improves the image. |

I think the b&w version makes a better image here. Nice contrast and pleasing tones. I would try dodging in the shadows to bring out more detail. Yes, I see the halo. |

I really like this image in black and white. The contrast between the white blossoms and dark background is dramatic. Well focused and nice detail. I suggest leaving a bit more space around the blossoms, seems a bit tight. |

Nice image with the dramatic clouds and the reflection in the lake. Although the color version is a bit flat, I think more drama could be created similar to the B&W. The B&W seems a bit busy for me. |

Nice nature photo. I, too, prefer the color version because it has more of a nature feel. I would also suggest cropping up from the bottom and the right side to eliminate the branch in the lower right. |
