Suzanne, In this case one image the icm is done vertically (the trees) and the other is done horizontally. |

Perfectly capture the bird calling to its peers. Love the vibrant colours of the bird contrasting with the background, and as you said the unusual flower that compliments so well with your composition. The only thing that my eyes got distracted is the object on the bottom right area. |

Great story of this steam locomotive to show the beauty along the Connecticut river valley.
This image transport me to old timer trains.
Yes I agree with your comments about a great candidate for monochrome, and to add more contrast to the sky, to see more of the steam coming from the train.

Its an amazing image, and I can imagine you taking this picture, so quite, not even breathing... I don't know but I would change it to a panoramic format, just a little bit on top of the tree. That's just me. |

That also reminds me of people in small towns in Peru, where I am original from, where they have simple jobs like selling bread or other things to have a living for them and their families, but they are always smiling and happy.
