Don't mind at all. It's always good to have a chance to see things from another perspective. Thanks! |

In retrospect, I wish I had taken this picture laying on the ground to elevate the stones to a more celestial imagery. I think it may have added to the other worldliness that a subject like this should have had. Your thoughts, please. |

Since part of the value of what we do in the DD groups is to offer insights into what we, as fellow photographers, see, I wonder how I would have perceived this photo if your daughter-in-laws eyes had been looking down at the face of her child's head? To me, it would have been a view into the mother's heart felt wonder of her child's birth, the bond that has already developed between them, and the thankfulness for such a healthy birth. |

The eyes do say everything, don't they? Very nice photo. One I am sure you will want to hang on the wall and treasure always. |

One of my favorite cities, for sure. Nice depth of field and clarity(sharp as a tack). Drama in the sky offsets the lack of drama in the columns and fence so I like the balance. The only little distraction for me is the Scott Monument. Perhaps it is less distracting for those who have never been to Edinburgh, but it is very imposing in almost any photo I have seen that it is included in. Nice early morning find.

Quite a nice scene that I could sit and look at for a long time when in a contemplative mood. The only thing I might have tried is cropping a bit to present the tree a little larger, perhaps by taking the same amount away from all sides just a bit or moving the lower left corner toward the tree a little. |

Debasish, makes me think of an old Star Trek scene where they had just launched a photon torpedo. Just a beautifully arranged shot with all the lines showing the depth of the "tunnel." The mixture of the tones as my eyes rolled down the tunnel is quite captivating. From the changes in tone from light to darker and darker as the eye move down the hall really helps funnel the eye to the furthest point. A very nice photo whose overall appeal is enhance by the crystal clarity of each and every line. |

My guess Margaret is that if that car hasn't got 4-wheel drive it is going to have a heck of a time getting off of that rock, of course the fifth wheel will be of some help. Very clever catch and fun. It is good that the car is very light colored and stands out nicely from the "forest" of bamboo. The fact that the bamboo is so uniform in size really make the whole picture seem plausibly realistic. Nice shot! |

Michael, immensely love this photo. I have want to visit the Faroes for sometime now and your photo just intensifies my desire. There is no way a color photo could do what you have done with this shot: The water fall, the small settlement, the hard rock backdrop, the cliffs, the clouds hanging over it all, speaks to the remoteness and the steely nature of living in a remote environment in the middle of the North Sea. This photo really encapsulated it all in this scene. Really nice job! Thanks for sharing. |
