The flame stands out at first sight but as I see there are two main and central objects -one behind the other, plus a background with details on it far in the end. So, if the target was to capture the flame then this shot rewards the effort and I like the honor to it. Otherwise this inner yard could be better exposed with a diagonal "look". I guess the wires have a "neutral role" in the image. They are near to the roof and not at the level of the eye. |

B&W was a good choice, and as Randall commented, one goes right down the tracks. The sky also is impressive and i think it fits the composition. Obviously there is a leading line and a vanishing point that gives more depth to the coloured photo, but the midtones of the B&W are harmoniously blended with the rest. |

Overall? It is a good picture. The little squirrel has the look as it captured the attention.
A small comment is that some fuzzy spots are visible on the fur. |

my main concern was to capture the flow of the lights, and the curnvature of the street as well. I agree with your point regarding the" gantry"...(did n't cross my mind). |
