12 Jun 23 Reply It can be really fun to go out early-ish and find dewdrops - bonus if you can get a nice scene and the sun in the background. Several years ago, I used to go out early on the weekends, and got down on my stomach for dewdrops on grass in the garden at the university where I worked. It was a great form of therapy. Jun 28th
12 Jun 23 Reply Thanks for taking the time to work with it, Connie! I like it with the flower staying brighter. Jun 28th
12 Jun 23 Comment I'm glad I received the notice about your comment, Lee Ann, I thought I had already responded to Chane saying that I agreed with his changes! Thanks! Jun 21st
12 Jun 23 Reply Thank you, Carole! The starburst was the result of an f13 f-stop on the macro lens. I get one at f9, too. It apparently doesn't take much to get one with the macro lens. Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment I agree with your thought that fallen, wet autumn leaves give an aura of sadness, and this reminds me that yellow is a fall color as well as a spring color. I like Carol's idea of taking a photo of this (type of) subject from an angle to give it a bit more interest. Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment The colors on the begonia are beautiful and the drops accentuate that. My only suggestion might be to adjust the crop on the bottom - there is just enough of the leaf missing that I'd want to add enough to see the edge of the leaf, or cut in closer so there's not that temptation. Otherwise, it's a really sweet image. Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment As Carole and Ally mentioned, you have a very clear, simple subject that draws the eye. It's sharp and in focus and gives a picture of the larger landscape. The colors are lovely, too. Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment What a fun project - I never tried the bucket - to - ice experiment but I did try some frozen bubbles several years ago. It's hard to shoot when it's that cold! This photo is suspended in time - I would love to see what happened next. Did the whole thing fall as one big chunk of ice? This evokes some suspense! Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment Beautiful image! Your post processing really brought out the detail of the drops and totally transformed the photo. Jun 8th
12 Jun 23 Comment I love this! I tried drops on a CD several years ago but mine never came out this well. I love the simplicity of the 3 drops and the nice smooth color transitions underneath. Jun 8th
