12 Dec 22 Reply It's helpful to know that there's a way to keep the flowers from floating around - that was an issue for me. I'll see if I can find out more. Thank you for the nice comments! Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Reply Thank you, Lee Ann! I had some luck with a purple daisy-type flower that was in a bunch from the grocery store - I changed the color to red and it's now this year's Christmas card. :) Have fun with this technique! Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Reply Actually this isn't the original composition of the photo as taken - one of the flowers went for a swim (I'll have to learn Connie's method of getting the flowers to stay put) and even if it had behaved, the composition was a bit dull. Thank you for the nice comments! Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Reply It's fun to play with these, isn't it? Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Reply Thank you, Michael! Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Reply Thanks, Angela! The light box made a huge difference in helping the flowers stand out. Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Comment Those lines in the ice are mesmerizing... and great contrast between the cold iciness of the ice and the warm color in the rocks. Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Comment Lots of fun different swirls, lines, and bubbles to look at! Dec 10th
12 Dec 22 Comment I think it's really beautiful. I don't mind it when my own photos start out dark as long as I don't lose the highlights / shadows (thank you, RAW). No one will ever need to know your secret!

Having lived in central New York state where there are tons of waterfalls, I appreciate the difficulty in trying to make sure your vertical is straight. I think you got it right here. The 3 or 4 drops at the bottom of the falls are facing different ways so that's making it more challenging.

12 Dec 22 Comment I love all the water drops, and that wet snow makes me appreciate being inside where it's warm. Dec 10th
