Jim, Thanks so much for the PSA warning. I assumed that most competitions don't allow skies that are not the maker's. My folder of skies didn't have the sky I wanted, so I did use another's. I haven't entered this image in any competition. |

Thanks, Michael. It took a lot of work - but was worth it! |

Very good conversion with good sharpness. The curve of the hoses provide a nice contrast to the hardness and sharp lines of the metal background, levers and knobs. |

I really like this scene. Horizontal lines in images impart calm, tranquil feelings which this image has with the water ripples. The center building is brighter which gives the eye a place to "rest." The distracting bright white objects at the left edge and to the right (a boat?) should be toned down. I think cropping off some of the sky would bring focus to the beautiful trees even more. Your sharpening is great! |

Here's a short YouTube video I found showing how to use Refine Edge to bring out animal fur. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRWDYNzrrTA
There are many more tutorials you can check out if this one doesn't help you. |

You caught a beautiful subject and the conversion is great. To be nitty-picky, I'd like to see the tips of the ears (which identify this cat as a Lynx) emphasized more. Dealing with hair or fur is a big challenge. Some areas are a bit cut-off. Besides Refine Edge, there are "hair" brushes designed to bring out those tiny hairs all around an animal. Your cat is beautiful and her expression is relaxed. Her eyes and the details on her face really stand out. How lucky for you to have this subject on your property! |

I like the color image, but the conversion needs to have a place for the eye to rest on. It might work if there were a bug or insect on one of the leaves.

I, too, like either version. Cropping eliminates a lot of unneeded space. I like the clear reflection. Good capture! |

I used a vertical orientation to put the focus on the boat. A large tree was to the left of the boat which didn't add anything to the image. I could have used Generative Expand to create even more space.
Thanks for your comments, Bogdan. |

I saw a demonstration where someone used AI Generative Fill in Photoshop to create eyes for a chimpanzee whose eyes were closed. It was really amazing! You could try it just for fun. You'd probably type the prompt "heron eye." I doubt if Gen. Fill could find a brown heron eye, though. |

Good catch of this young woman on a mission! Nice light hand in increasing the saturation. The green is a great contrast to her beautiful orange dress. Good sharp details. The shadows in back and in front of the woman are good. However, I find the brown trail that runs across the image distracting. |

How lucky to have found this bird family! I, too, would like to see more below the nest which would add more to the story. Nice job on the coloring of the birds. The baby is especially sharp. Wish the parent had a sharper eye. You captured a wonderful scene! |

I love how the cloud formation and the perspective of the bridge rails lead our eye to the picnic bench. Unfortunately, keeping both would put the horizon in the center. More contrast would perk up this image. A gentle vignette would highlight the bench even more. |

It's very difficult to capture birds in flight. You have a good composition with this one. I think a faster shutter speed might have resulted in a sharper image. Using Burst Mode gives you a better chance of getting just the right pose of any moving bird or animal. |

Considering the 20-second exposure, this turned out great! The reflections look like mirrors - beautiful! The background lights could probably be toned down even more - expecially the lights to the right of the middle tree. The strings of colored lights in the background complement the trees, are not distracting, and give depth to the image. |

Love this! We see its arms which suggest a relaxed pose. I was immediately drawn to his/her eyes, which is needed in human or animal portraits. Very good job at maintaining the wisps of fur around the edges. Did you use the Refine tool? Curious that there is a green cast (on my computer) across the chest and partly on the arms. YES, you absolutely captured its soul! |
