Ha-Ha-Ha - Great title! You got the idea. I forgot to send in the title which is "Still Standing" but I like your title better! |

The picture is titled, "Still Standing." I forgot to add it in the info I sent in.
I hadn't thought of trying the landscape orientation. I'll do it to compare. |

Thank you for your comments, Ian. It worked well in B&W, but I wanted to show the colors of the deposits. |

Nice composition. Magnolias are a great flower to shoot. I like that you shot it at an angle. Do you have other shots of this without the petals being blown out? You did a good job in the processing, but there's very little detail in the petals. You may want to add more contrast overall. |

I love this action shot! The dust and the light coming through the dust gives it impact. The cropping is a bit tight, but it shows how crowded these racers are. However, it wouldn't hurt to allow a bit more room on each side. I assume those tiny dark specks are kicked up dirt, which contributes to the energy of the image. |

I would love to have seen more of this car. If you can't get a good overall picture, shoot various features and go for a collage.
That's a really interesting hood ornament. Is it a covering for water to the radiator? |

I've never seen a starling before. Interesting markings. It's very hard to capture birds as they are rarely willing to pose. Ideally, we like to show the eyes of critters - especially with a catchlight. It might benefit from a bit more sharpening and contrast. Maybe give the image a bit more room at the bottom and a little less on the left.
Hopefully, you can get more images of these birds. |

One doesn't normally see a Koala portrait. I like that you caught it with some green in its mouth. I can almost feel the softness of the fur which is not oversharpened. The white fur on the neck is a little blown out. The original is more toned down. Did you consider removing the two thin branches running across the bear (especially the one across its face)? |
