That's funny you mention "fire" because one of my friends thought the same thing. Good thing it has a title! |

I agree with the previous comments. You did a great job in transforming from the original. My eye keeps wandering back and forth on the blooms. The top left flowers are brighter than the others. Maybe try toning those down and brightening the middle group a bit? |

I agree with Mohanan that the white line leads away from the structure in the top right. With a little more cropping from the left, it would make a striking vertical image. |

I just returned from Death Valley so this scene at Zabriski Point is fresh in my mind. I like the sharp details in the foreground. You also did a good job at keeping the foreground colors pretty true to life. The background colors in the original are better as they don't pull my eyes away from the beautiful foreground.

I love the colors of the sky and reflection in the original. Removing the hanging branches, cropping down a bit from the top and returning some of the sky and reflection colors would make this a stunning image! |

My eyes keep going to the bright spot in the jar. I would love to see the greenery in focus. Fun still life! |

The puppets are so colorful and fun to look at. I agree with the comments above - especially Walter's editing. It's great that we can take an image to edit it. |

It's 620 feet high, but very difficult to get the whole falls. There are too many trees and the spray creates mist that gets on the lens. Many years ago, I captured the wind blowing the falls UPWARD!
Thanks for your comments. |

Based on your comment, it sounds like I succeeded in featuring the water. Glad you also found images in the falls.
Thank you, Renee. |

Thank you, Walter. I do think it's a more dramatic image in B&W. However, I have to admit, that in general, I LOVE B&W images! |

Thank you, Terry. Glad you could find stories in the water. It's hard to take a bad picture in Yosemite! |

Sorry to be so slow in commenting on everyone's pictures. I was on the committee to celebrate our photo club's 75th anniversary and just returned from a week in Death Valley. I look forward to sharing some of those pics soon. |

I didn't notice faces as I worked on this, but was sure they could be found. Thanks for pointing them out. It's always fun to find pictures within pictures. |
