Bogdan, I agree with that. Sometimes, beautiful textures or moods can be lost in color. Because of your and other's comments, I'm going to reprocess my image in color. |

Thank you, Bogdan - it's back to the drawing board for me! It's crazy that I shot this image for the clouds and color and then edited in B&W!!! |

Terry, You're right about missing out on the colors in the sky. I like what you've done in the sky, but I may try editing the town in a soft-ish pastel to blend better with the sky. Thanks for your version! |

This is obviously not a piece of fine art. Whenever I fly, I grab a window seat to shoot interesting scenes below. I especially love patterns on the ground. One of the reasons I liked this shot was the beautiful scene with the fluffy clouds and streaked clouds with color - and the town below with the highway running through it. I hoped our group might have ideas to improve it or make it more interesting, if possible! Thanks. |

Nice scene. I wonder if a vintage treatment would work, rather than b&w, with the new skyline being sharper? Do you have other shots that avoided the building in the bottom right? |

This is just beautiful! I can see it hanging on a wall as it radiates tranquility. I do like what Mohanan has done with eliminating the squareness of the image. However, I prefer the soft, "fairy tale", color version. |

Great catch of a bird in flight! On my computer, the head looks a bit pixelated or oversharpened. |

WOW! What a lot of work, but the results were worth it! You did a great job with the straightening. My vote is for NO SKY. The windows look like mini abstracts. I love the shapes and colors. They really stand out against the "gray" of the building. |

I, too, like what Mohanan has done. I believe the white fluff is pillow stuffing that is often used for these mini scenes. You might want to cover the left bottom and the bit of table that shows on the right with cloning.
I wonder what a night sky would look like?
Keep on with the mini scenes - you've done well, and they are fun to do! |

This is a wonderful portrait. Cropping and B&W good choice. The ring really pops, which I think you wanted. Eyes are beautiful. Maybe tone down, just a bit, the shine on the skin. |
