3 Nov 22 Comment Hi Kieu-Hanh, I love your crop that draws attention to the design elements of the dahlia. I think I would prefer the image in colour though. The gradations in the shades of purple are lovely and it looks like there's a bit of yellow to offset the purple. Nov 11th
3 Nov 22 Comment Hi Mary Ann, I love the layers in this image, they keep my eye entertained. I also like the blue and yellow colour palette. I would also try boosting the saturation of the red/yellow part of the sky but I might end up preferring it as it is. Nov 11th
3 Nov 22 Comment I love the colours and shapes and patterns in this image. I'd love to see the uncropped image.

3 Nov 22 Reply Thanks LuAnn, I know that I should always flip an image just to see but I don't usually remember. Perhaps I will in future, it certainly improves this image. I'll try the crop, too. Nov 11th
3 Nov 22 Reply Thanks Ruth, I think you're right about the slight crop. LuAnne has suggested a flip I think the two will improve the image. Nov 11th
3 Nov 22 Comment it must be amazing to live in a place with such natural colour. I love the layers in this image, my eye travels up and back but spends some time in each place. The mountains behind are wonderful, too, and the sky complements them beautifully. I think a blue sky would be altogether too much. I do agree with Michael's suggestion of less saturation although I wouldn't have thought of it myself. With less saturation it seems more natural to me and somehow more restful. Nov 2nd
3 Nov 22 Comment Wow! This would be amazing to see, let alone photograph! And so successfully! The colours are intriguing and the Milky Way is like an abstract. I think the car balances the composition and also, I suspect, makes a comment about terrestial compares to celestial aging. Nov 2nd
3 Nov 22 Comment I love this one! The colours are stunning and there are lots of interesting shapes. The orange bits lead the eye across the top then back to the 'figure'. I think the eye settles on the 'figure' because it looks human but it could equally be inanimate. I think the questions the image arouses are even more engaging. I can't come up with a reasonable idea of what it is, I just love it. Nov 2nd
