36 Jan 24 Comment What an awesome sight! You've captured it well. Your edits are done very well. It's natural with detail and nice color. The only thing that could make it better would be, as Michael suggested, would be to have taken it in morning or evening golden light. Well done! Jan 18th
36 Jan 24 Comment This is a beautiful and serene image, albeit cold. I really like the details in the rocks and the ice swirls. The sky is beautiful. The composition is well shot and the edits are well done. My only critique is the horizon needs to be straightened. Jan 18th
36 Jan 24 Comment Love this. The back and white is great with editing well done and the symmetry works so well. The reflection is so clear. There must not have been even a single breeze. It has awesome depth and definition. I have nothing critical to say.…except, maybe clone out the leaves in the lower left 😂. Jan 18th
36 Jan 24 Comment This is such a great image. The black and purple colors were great together, and create quite the dramatic image. The pillars in the foreground make a very strong leading line straight to a crystal clear image of the city. The dark bottom of the image going into the light is something that I think works well and creates depth. Great work. Jan 17th
36 Jan 24 Comment Okay I'm finally learning Photoshop! I did another edit with layers, using brushes. Jan 17th
36 Jan 24 Reply Thank you for your comments. I agree the thick black horizontal line is a distraction. I'm not sure why I didn't see it in the first place lol but I believe I minimized/hit it in the re-edit it. Jan 16th
36 Jan 24 Reply Please see my re-edit below. I smoothed and darkened the water as much as I could by brushing with decreased texture and darkened towards the mountains for depth. Jan 16th

36 Jan 24 Comment Taking into account what everyone has said, this is my re-edit. I do think it's much better. And Larry, hopefully the horizontal black bar is not as distracting :). I like the colors better too. Jan 16th
36 Jan 24 Comment I agree simplicity was what first came to my mind. I like the composition and the crop. I like the crop because I feel it anchors the image. In my personal opinion I don't like to center images with reflections unless the image is identical at the top and bottom, but that's probably personal preference. I also like the clouds as they add texture and interest for me. Excellent pin sharp stars. As far as your plan being spoiled… I'd be so upset but I guess there wasn't much you could do. You did however salvage the situation very well. The headlights were very helpful for this image. I look forward to seeing your star trails someday. Jan 9th
36 Jan 24 Comment This is beautiful. Great composition and colors. I love how the light hits the rocks. The colors are soft and serene. I also really like the leading lines of the darker clouds on the right. Jan 9th
36 Jan 24 Comment Thank you for your comments. I tried to keep the foreground pilings but they were so dark that the details lost. And they seemed like a distraction. Jan 9th
