Beautiful moody fine art image! Great editing! The lighting is fantastic and your use of masks created the mood really well. I agree the what Michael says about the crop. |

Ha ha! Thank you for your feedback. I have to remind myself to dial back the color! I love color, pops of color and drama. I think that's why I'm drawn to fine art photography. |

Very nice serene shot. Beautiful colors and great composition. My eye did keep dropping to the dark border of the wheat at the bottom. I can see it as a frame and a layer especially with the similarly colored mountains in the background. I wonder if lightening it would make it seem less bold and fit with the serene image. What time(s) of year do you recommend shooting the Palouse? I live about 5 hours away. |

I love the colors, reflections and light bursts. Beautiful image. Thank you for sharing the process. I have done a lot of merging and have yet done a pano merge; but will try to practice this. |

Hopefully this was a lucky shot and you were able to later capture some perseid meteors. This is a nice shot. I agree with Arne, a slight crop down from the top may balance the photo. The colors are very nice. I've heard fences that cut across the image block the eye, but I don't get that in this image. I do wonder if this was shot more to the left and closer to the fence, so that the fence is more on an angle, how the composition would look. That way the fence could be more of a leading line and you would have angles between the fence and trees. |
