Great job of creating the mood and drawing the viewer into the image. While the vast majority of the image is balanced and centered, your removing one of the two people and placement of the horizon did a great job of creating tension and off setting the rest of the composition. Very nice overall. Mark

62 Dec 25 Comment Chris,

At first glance, I missed the bee so I agree with Emil that pulling more detail out of the flower is a good idea, it should make the bee more pronounced. Another thought would be to try cropping the image much tighter, leave a small portion of the stem and darken the background to minimize the highlights and darken the stem. Something like this. Mark

Perfect timing to capture the raven perfectly and overall a great image. From a composition standpoint the placement of the power lines and perspective create a wonderful play on the towers, but that part is so strong that the raven is dwarfed and gets lost. This is one of those images were i wonder if you have two images in one. Regardless I'd be proud of either. Mark

Wow, the conversion and your wizardry did a marvelous job of pulling a lot of texture out of the original image and complementing it with a more detailed sky contrasts nicely with the Totem.

62 Dec 25 Comment Sayed,

At first I thought the texture in your monochrome conversion was a filter of some sort and actually liked the way it helped make the subject pop out of the image. But Oliver's conversion removing the noise really made the reflections standout. Both versions are good but the enhanced reflections do make it a stronger image. Mark

As all noted, this is a marvelous street scene. You not only got a great shot of the man in the foreground but all of the action in the background almost appears coordinated. In addition it appears like the world is passing buy with no notice of the subject. Definitely a keeper.

62 Dec 25 Reply I really love your crop. It boils the image down and still retains the magnitude of the pulpit over the individual. Dec 30th
