Mike, I agree, your conversion and treatment are excellent and you made it into avery interesting image. I'm not sure, I agree with the Big Brother title, maybe "Watching" or something. Mark |

Chris, I'm inclined to agree that a tighter crop is needed. as presented, the scene is pretty busy and while the stem and other components do guide the viewer to the single water drop, it's not prominent enough to keep the viewers attention. so, i'd crop tighter and use the vignette suggested by Peter to contain the viewer. Adrian, great shot and thank you for sharing that they don't kill the bull in the ring. My first thought was, Run Dennis, Run!!! While including the spectators does add to the environment, your final shot is all about the bull and the runner which is the point. Not sure i'm into the vingetting Peter added but his treatment of the bull and runner does enhance the image. Mark

Emil, As always a great image. This time, i disagree with the others regarding cropping. I think you nailed it and including the chalk marks on the pavement makes it anything but another shot of the bridge. Can't really suggest any improvements. Shoot well my friend.

Kamal, I too want to welcome you to the group and thank you for submitting a great image. The subject is great, the low angle really enhances the shot. I do agree with Peter and Michael. your original has a lot of open space on the right side that doesn't add to the image. I'd crop it but not sure I'd go as far as Peter suggests. Michael also saw the halo around "Captan Hook". Actually it appears around the "hook" and parts of the man. I'm not sure why it's there but it makes it look like the image was over sharpend or something in post processing. Again, it's a great image and these are only small suggestions. Welcome!!!!!

Peter, I think you did a nice job of blending the real and the added components. I was about to ask you which trigger you'd used and you definitely improved the image over the original. Cropping out the clutter in the bottom of the image was a drastic improvement however, the sign toward the bottom right is still a bit distracting. Not sure how to fix that without cropping it out. |
