Mike, I've tried similar shots at the Guggenheim museum and softer light might help. But this is a great architectural shot and doubles as abstract and graphic. It starts as an abstract at the bottom and as your eye is drawn up transitions to a real representation of the atrium and skylight. I'd probably go back on a cloudy day to try again, but what you've got is great and definitely frameable. Mark |

Chris, I too love the symmetry and you've done a nice job captureing the image in what appears to be bright sunlight. I've taken serveral classes from Arthur Meyerson and even though he is the King of Color, he'd suggest having something like a person, animal, bike or what ever in the image to give it more purpose. But as an architectural image its great. Mark |

Emil, Agreed, great shot. I love the scale, the angled "horizon" and of course the hiker. My first thought was to straighten the horizon, duh, that's the point. Walking up to meet the sky. Love it. Mark |

Mandy, You definitely caught the moment perfectly and removing the background isolated her making this a great image. Not much I can add to what you've done. |

Pete, Great concept and well executed. Love the perspective and use of leading line. I think Mike's modifications do help force my eye to the barrel. the wider perspective creates some distraction. It also appears that Mike brought up the brightness of the clouds giving the viewer a stronger point, subject to focus on when their eye reaches the end of the barrel. |
