Michael, Wow there are a lot of great ideas here. I'm inclined to keep the beach walkers in the scene. They add context and do frame the branch. But I also like more of a landscape crop. The sky is beautiful but it does pull the viewer's eye up and away from the basic scene. Love the variety of suggestions on this. |

Adrian, I love the scene and the detail in the hat but am drawn to Chris' version. In the original the banana's are too bright and distract me, the viewer from the rest of the image. While Chris' version changes the image, taking away the beautiful detail in the hat I feel that it pull my eye further into the scene and keeps me there longer. |

Emil, I agree with the others that the tonality is great as is the overall image. I also agree with Michael about removing a portion of the wires. With the wires in the image, they provide a path for the viewer's eye to exit the frame and you can't really tell they've been removed. Well done. |

Pete, I love the conversion. Not sure how I could improve it. Mark |

Can't wait to see your photos of Tokyo. I took these as part of a night photo class I took while in Tokyo. The instructor was an Australian chap. Had fun. Did shots in the Scramble crossing, this narrow alley near by and did slow shutter, ghosting. All of which were new to me. |

I think this combined with Peters edits would be great. Will have to play a bit. |

I agree that it's very busy and like how you've really brought out the lighting on the one diner. For me, I'd take what you've done and add just a bit more light on the other individuals to add some but not all of the environment back. Thanks for the feedback. |
