This is was confusing at first but an outstanding image. I've rarely tried this mirroring technique so am always in awe when I see one well pulled off. I'm not sure if I like Bunny's modifications. I like the fact that the original looks very well aligned with no separation between the two images. So, I vote for the original. :) |

I agree, even without the complications, you did a great job. The tonal range and detail in the highlights and shadows is amazing. |

Emil,
I agree both color and monochrome are great. The shading and composition are well thought out and overall a very good image. |

Mandy, I really like this too, but having worked for Otis Elevator most of my career, I know this is an up escalator, not one going down. :) Regardless, you got a great shot and converting it to monochrome was brilliant and does is a much greater image. Congradulations. (Oh, truth be told, I was at the museum in October) |

I think the HDR was done nicely to capture the detail and range of exposer in the image. And the depth you captured/created with the lighter foreground, dark shoreline lighter water and darker sky is outstanding. However, the black and white version doesn't really represent a sunset, I'd consider a different name so the image isn't dependent on the name to describe it. |
