In this case both the color and monochrome images are extremely strong. But the monochrome has less distractions and really brings out the emotion. At first glance, the image seems to tip a bit to the right and you know I'm a pain about lines. you've got the columns lined up well but I think the back of the bench is what's throwing me. Again, this is a personal nit and the image is great as is. Congratulations. mark |

Bob, it is a very nice image of the falls. I like that you chose a location where you were able to clearly capture three distinct water patterns and that they contrast so well. At first I struggled to find an anchor/ subject for my eyes to land on but realized that the chaotic patterns at the top of the image and the soft pillow like ones at the bottom really frame the more organized starlight line patterns in the middle. I think you nailed it. Mark. |

Brrrrrrr! You've definitely conveyed the environment well. I like the adjustments you made to give the image more tonal range which appears to enhanced the textures too. Love it. Mark |

LuAnn, I like the subject and your angle rally enhances the height of the buildings. Lately though, I've become a bit of a stickler about having at least one line in an image parallel to an edge of the image. I don't know if it would be possible in this case and totally understand having to avoid the crowds but wonder if there was a way to pull it off. For me it makes the distorted angle appear more intentional to the viewer. Just a thought. Mark |

Not the most flattering image of the subject but you did catch a great moment and really convey the emotion at the time. I like the BW version because it emphasizes the subject and flipping the image makes him a bit less aggressive, i.e. more easily viewed. It's not so much in your face. |

After a long battle with ATT, I finally regained access to the group.
AS is your way, you nailed it. The flowers practically jump off the page creating a 3d effect that enhances the experience and really holds my attention. |
