My first impression was that it was ICM but if I understand you combined multiple images to get this. Yikes! I do enjoy the image and like the fact that each layer is in focus. Overall, I like it as a piece of art. |

I agree with Lu Anne regarding the church being a bit bright, but not much and the work you did on the sky provides a nice contrast helping to make the church stand out. |

Emil, you really did transform this from an architectural photo to capturing a monument. Your monochrome conversion gave the structure a sense of place, of dominance and strength not evident in the color image. Since we both live in St. Louis and seem to be in the same places at different time, we'll have to catch up one of these days...... |

You've done a great job of highlighting the tree trunk. I haven't done any editing myself but would try to push it a bit further to make the trunk stand out even more. Love trees but they are so difficult to capture and single out the individual tree. |

I'm late to the discussion but agree that flipping the image is key to the presentation as it engages the viewer and capturing the reflection of people in the glasses draws you in further. I can't really add much more. |

Thank you for taking time after your trip to comment. I understand the distraction of the architecture. How was Iceland????? |

Light Brushes, so that's how he did it. I'll have to look into that. Thank you for your comments. I appreciate each and every one.

Thank you. I wouldn't have thought to darken the area around the hands separately. I'll keep that in mind. And I didn't notice the crop, so showing the entire ceiling isn't that critical. Mark |

I think you did pull out more light on the hands. I normally work in Lightroom so I'm not as familiar with photoshop techniques. What tools did you use to get them to glow?

I do like it. It really opens up the detail of the tomb and exposes the craftsmanship. I was going for more of mood and allowing the tomb to float/ appear out of the ground. But I still like your version. |
