Thank you. The coaches love for the kids was amazing and this image did capture some of that emotion.

Israel,
I agree that your choice of sky is perfect and provides a backdrop highlighting the towers and lines. Your use of perspective also very effectively give the size and distance of the installation.
Thank you for sharing your perspective of the countryside. |

Bob,
I totally agree that the sky replacement was necessary to make this image stand out and your choice was perfect. My first impression is of a scene in motion, actually in turmoil and the sweeping clouds are a big part of that.
As for AI generated images, the St. Louis CC has discussed it and I think we're moving toward considering AI as a separate art form not to be confused with photography. But I have a problem with it as it relies on copyrighted images with out the owners permission. So while it's fun and gives many a new form of expression, I think they need to figure out how to compensate the creators for their work. Someone likened it to sampling in music. |

Emil,
I too love waterfalls and began using video to capture the sounds with the intent to merge the sound with still images, but that hasn't gone anywhere.
Your cropping, shutter speed and other technical choices are dead on and greatly enhances the image. My only suggest would be to bring down the brightness in the upper left corner. I'm assuming it's due to mist but I find it a bit distracting and my eye wonders to that corner. Just a thought. Take care. |

LuAnn,
I commend you on your patience working with these advanced techniques. Initially, I like both the original and your enhanced version but the latter is much more a piece of Art. But I also like the edits Emil did, I think the simplicity of applying the drawing technique only to the subject does enhance the viewing experience. Have fun with it and share more as you have time. |

Wow, I'm taken back by the level of detail you captured. Did you use a tripod, or are you really that steady? I'm also delighted by your offsetting the foreground to one side. You've enabled the viewer to see more of the scene on the right but still pulled them into the image with the perspective. I know two of the Docents at the Cathedral but have never been inside. |
