62 Dec 22 Comment Bob, Thank you for your compliments. About the only advice I can give is move the sliders all the way to the left or right then back down till you get the effect you want. I did this editing long before LR came out with the AI assisted masking so I'm not sure what I'd come up with if I started over. Also, I start by cropping wide in the camera and then do some drastic cropping in LR, but otherwise rely on my instincts. Mark Dec 12th
62 Dec 22 Comment Love the scene and it's a great image. Wish I'd been there too.

I like the way you kept the tree from crossing the ridgeline and could see the tree highlight a bit more as it blends into the back ground a bit.

I'm a bit troubled by the crop. I keep wanting to crop out the second building to push the viewers eye back to the cowboy but then the image looses something. Not sure but you did a good job of preventing the buildings from merging.
Overall a great job.

62 Dec 22 Comment Great image! Love the texture and detail the monochrome version enhances. Placing the head so close to the left edge of the image crowds the bird a bit. But otherwise love it.

62 Dec 22 Comment I'm not usually a fan of photos of other artists work but you've found a unique view and done a great job of creating your own interpretation. Nicely done and I'm looking at the 14pro for the same reason you used your iphone on this shot. Dec 11th
62 Dec 22 Comment Both the mono and color are beautiful. I agree with Emil's point related to the petals below and behind the stamen being a bit bright/ distracting. But otherwise great. FYI, they are one of my favorite subjects too but the depth of field is hard to control...... Dec 11th
62 Dec 22 Comment Not sure I can add much! You captured the moment, the mood and present it in magnificent way with great execution. Dec 11th
62 Dec 22 Reply Thank you for your ewe and awa's. Fortunately or Unfortunately this view is now blocked by a new skyscraper built between the High Line and this old building. As for the wooden water tanks, NYC has a law prohibiting their removal. too many were being repurposed as flooring or other decorative products. Dec 5th
