Bob, Thank you for your compliments. About the only advice I can give is move the sliders all the way to the left or right then back down till you get the effect you want. I did this editing long before LR came out with the AI assisted masking so I'm not sure what I'd come up with if I started over. Also, I start by cropping wide in the camera and then do some drastic cropping in LR, but otherwise rely on my instincts. Mark |

Love the scene and it's a great image. Wish I'd been there too.
I like the way you kept the tree from crossing the ridgeline and could see the tree highlight a bit more as it blends into the back ground a bit.
I'm a bit troubled by the crop. I keep wanting to crop out the second building to push the viewers eye back to the cowboy but then the image looses something. Not sure but you did a good job of preventing the buildings from merging.
Overall a great job.

Great image! Love the texture and detail the monochrome version enhances. Placing the head so close to the left edge of the image crowds the bird a bit. But otherwise love it.

I'm not usually a fan of photos of other artists work but you've found a unique view and done a great job of creating your own interpretation. Nicely done and I'm looking at the 14pro for the same reason you used your iphone on this shot. |

Both the mono and color are beautiful. I agree with Emil's point related to the petals below and behind the stamen being a bit bright/ distracting. But otherwise great. FYI, they are one of my favorite subjects too but the depth of field is hard to control...... |

Thank you for your ewe and awa's. Fortunately or Unfortunately this view is now blocked by a new skyscraper built between the High Line and this old building. As for the wooden water tanks, NYC has a law prohibiting their removal. too many were being repurposed as flooring or other decorative products. |
