Hi Murphy, I am in agreement with all the very positive comments you have received on the Sphynx moth image. The background is problematic for me. Do I like it or not? Too much texture takes away from the subject. The color is right, you haven't taken the subject out of its environment.
Indecision on my part. The moth itself is pure perfection! |

Hi Charlie, Simplicity was your goal and I agree you have achieved it initially. The black glass under the nicely arranged fruit is striking. The combination of three objects, differing textures and colors is very appealing. Simple but the reflective effects of placing the arrangement on glass is more than simple. |

Hi Neal, Wonderful image of the wasp. The sharpness and color against the black background is so very appealing. Your focus stacking work is apparent and certainly well done. |

Hi Barbara, Fine image of he Anole with sharp focus on the most important parts of the head including eye, mouth and upper breast. The color of the background is complementary to the subject. A suggestion you might consider is removing the upper two leaves on the left, and substitute a simple black background. |
