Nostalgia....this image creates happy memories of either a ride on a carousel or watching youngsters enjoying a ride. I see good focus and lighting as well. Nice variety of colors and interest. As I scroll from bottom to top the colors appear to get lighter. (?) |

Amazing close up of the Iguana which provides great detail of the Iguana. I will be waiting for additional photographs as I have never seen such clarity of that animal previously. |

I rather like Sheldon's suggestions. Below the crop the interest in the photo lies. The steam, tubing and wheel or wheels (with the material between the wheels) are of interest. Fine focus and lighting.

Greeting....I can for-see your African trip being a great success. Please share! The bird is sharp, eye included as well as the feathers. (Single (?) on the back of the neck). Against the background this image is a prize winner. Thanks for sharing the technical information.
Excellent work! |

You were there at the correct moment. I like the water drops falling from the marlin's arched body. Interesting color combinations between the sky and distinctive water areas in the
scene. |

Excellent photograph, nicely captured. The shape of the tree is certainly of interest. Good idea to illuminate the foreground. The choice of position you photographed from was thoughtful. The dark cloud and the rock formation mimicking the cloud adds to the image. After another look, the rim lighting on the tree is another bonus.
Not a single suggestion for improvement! |

Hi Neal, Good lighting, composition and color in your image this month. All the colors blend together nicely. I like your idea of placing the subject on a dried leaf. My only suggestion is to crop along the bottom of the frame. I think it would create more impact. |

Hi Barbara, Your submission this month is presented well with the grater and colorful fruit. Good focus and arrangement between the two prominent subjects. Taking classes is an excellent way of learning and developing an eye for future improvement of most endeavors. Best to you! |

A good point brought up. The coloring in the reflection of the duck's head and neck? The water directly under and behind the duck also has similar coloring. In spite of that unexplained finding....an excellent capture! I like the position in the water with the surrounding waves. I do think a little cropping on all sides would be advantageous. |

Hi Charlie, Very nice photo of the kiwi. I like the shadow on the glass. Having a black background was a good choice... brings attention to the color of the kiwi itself and it's black seeds. I do have an only negative thought and it only relates to the dark color of the kiwi's edible surface. Usually it is a brighter green. Against the brown, rather woody looking outer skin the green surface looks to me, delicious and appealing.
Perhaps you have different thought?
