The brighter sky was in your favor. It illuminated the stars and the Milky Way nicely. Great composition with the lighter colors just over the rocky area on the right side of the frame. Attention drawing. |

Hi, I just read your comment about clicking on the image. It make a great difference. Previously it looked like a blank sky. Light painting was successful. |

Beautiful orchid. How lucky to have visited Keukenhof Gardens. The Iris is perfectly captured. Good focus, lighting and technical qualities. A excellent portrait in a portrait position. |

Hi Joe, I think that was part of the lighting system so just left it in. |

Good find! I like the slight diagonal line of the sunflowers. To me it adds a bit of interest as the top of the frame is perfectly straight. If removing the sky you might want to fill in the bright spots in the tree line. They are a distraction to me and would be more prominent if the sky were removed. |

The leaves make a nice frame around the statue's face. Your choice of converting to monochrome was a good option, in keeping with the subject matter. I agree with the previous comments regarding cropping and the brightness of several leaves. |

The colors in this image are great, I see fine focus and composition. I am in agreement with the previous comments regarding the motor. It looks like a beautiful day and with a bit of cropping the image would make a perfect memory. |

Hi Murphy......Oh no! You did right by not centering the image! I am in total agreement with you. In nature, subjects are not lined up in a symmetrical pattern. Asymmetrical creates interest. (Just my way of thinking.)

Hi Charlie, Your rose is absolutely delightful. The water drops are a bonus as is the inclusion of the back petal with the variations of color. Background is nicely blurred and accentuates the beauty of the rose. Well done!

Hi Neal, Your nature photography is unique from spiders, to toads and all in between. Very nice sharpness of the body to particularly the eye. The color patterns are nice and even do separate from the material he/she is perched upon even with the same tones. |

Hi Alane, The colorful fallen leaves have created an artistic arrangement on the dark/wet cobblestones. As your title suggested, they formed a wreath around the wet stones. Good eye for recognition of such. Keep up the travel and photography. |

Great image of the Flamingo. I really like the composition with the head and neck position being somewhat unusual. Your choice of view places emphasis on just those two features. The bright colors of the bird combine nicely with the shadowed background of black and gray water. |
