Excellent work! Fine focus, placement in the frame, lighting, colors, eye catching and certainly of great interest for the viewer. I also like the bit of pink tongue protruding from the mouth. |

An excellent night photo especially being hand held. The reflections in the water add to the image. Perhaps you will have print made to hang on your wall? |

I really like the original concept that you were thinking of in regards to this image. The technical qualities are excellent, creativity is apparent, very good color and lighting are all part of your presentation. I get the impression you are not totally satisfied with your results and hope you will share your final print. |

Yes, this image has a lot going for it. Colorful hazy sky with reflections in the water and birds in the foreground. I like the curve of the water line along the right side of the frame. Also the trees along the right. Good post processing work as well. |

Good capture of action with bright and colorful attire of the subject. His facial features add to the image. The "wrinkles" on his forehead indicate he is really into his music. Nice work! |

Greetings, I like the composition in this image with the diagonal leaf veins. The fly being placed just under the most prominent vein is excellent. Cropping along the bottom of the frame would make for a more interesting image in my opinion. |

Hi Barbara, Very nice composition with the curve of the orchid petals and the addition of the bud at the bottom of the bloom. The green leaves in the right lower corner create a well balanced composition. Excellent focus and lighting. |

Hi Charlie, Interesting just how everyday items look photographed with a macro lens. We just do not see all the fine details with the naked eye. I see a mixture of various types of peppercorns all focused sharply, colorful and interesting to look at. The several cracked shells add additional interest.

Hi Murphy, You have submitted a wonderful image this month, happy I got to enjoy it. (I mistakenly did the same thing recently-by sending a non-macro shot.)
The colors are superb in your image and the lighting is excellent. The bright leaves against the gray of the wheel are perfect. The two bands around the wheel's center are a color complement to the leaves. Excellent !!! |

Hi Barbara, Lovely carnation placed gracefully in the frame. The background with hints of green works well. I particularly like the bit of light on the underside of the base of the flower. As mentioned the brightness of the petals on the left are a bit much. Cloning some color from surrounding flowers, as Charlie suggested, may be an answer. |
