Hi Joe, Your lady is certainly singing with feeling and you have captured her emotion. I do like Laura Lee's crop but I understand the difficulty in separating one entertainer from another plus the background interference. It's not easy to photograph at concerts and groups. You did well with the challenges you faced. |

Hi Glen, "The eyes have it". Wonderful photo, composition, color, clarity and interest. I would not have noticed the branch over his back hind quarter if it had not been mentioned previously. I hope you can do something with it as the image is perfect otherwise. |

Hi Sheldon, Beautiful image with great clarity. Early rising does have advantages. I like the color and composition. No negative comments or suggestions for improvement. Super work!! |

Hi Laura Lee, Very interesting sky. I tend to agree with Suzanne in regards to cropping the shoreline but I do like the rocks and find interest in that portion of the image. By cropping we would get a better view of the heron. |

Hi Suzanne, An unusual find. Older vehicles are fun to photograph. It seems the cab part of the truck overpowers the back. I think giving it more room in front would be an improvement as far as "rules" go. Letting the subject have room for travel forward. Thanks for posting. |

Hi John, I agree, it is a somewhat unusual to find a location bearing one's surname. In view of previous comments you may consider cropping to a panoramic view. The top portion has interest; clouds and shoreline. I do like the conversion to black and white. |

Message to both Charlie and Murphy...Thank you both for your instructions regarding adding a stroke. Previously I could add a stroke in Elements by just a clicking on stroke but it has somehow been "blacked" out. I planned on following the instructions you have given for the March image but it didn't happen. I am moving to Senior housing and it has been stressful searching for the appropriate facility, downsizing, packing and etc. Hopefully in April. But...I do appreciate and thank you for your comments. |

Hi Neal: Yes, this is a change of pace regarding your choice of subject matter. I like it! The selection of fruit is well chosen and arranged in the bowl. I particularly like the cherries surrounding the edges of the bowl. The black background adds a bit of drama to the image. You might consider working a bit on the base of the bowl. Nice work! |

Hi Charlie, I did not immediately recognize this as a glass of ice cubes. The water drops add to the confusion....so this is an abstract in my opinion. Good composition being centered in the frame. Welcome to the World of Abstraction! |

Hello Alane, An interesting way of presenting a floral arrangement. I imagine it was rather striking viewing in person. I would like to try that sometime. Ordinarily we try for sharp focus or more recognizable blooms. I congratulate you for seeking out difficult photographic designs and situations. |

I agree with both comments in regard to the stroke. I always have trouble using the stroke in Elements. It should be a simple addition. When that occurs I go to Nik and use their stroke which is much wider. I am OK with the white stroke. |

Hi Murphy....So simple yet so complex with all the varying shades of color throughout. Focus could not be better and I do like the very thin stroke about the edge of the frame. It holds everything together and I find it interesting you have chosen green in keeping with the color scheme. A truly attractive presentation with great lighting. |

Hi Barbara...I see an image which has a lot of interest particularly the leaves along the left side of the frame. Also the arch of the branch with a mixture of leaves along the top and the red berries underneath. Normally I do not care for shadows of the subject on the background but in this case they work very well along with the vignetting. Texture adds interest and a pleasing color to the image. Very well done! |
