Hi Glenn, Your trip to the Grand Teton's was certainly productive. You have a nice long lens for this type of work. Good composition with the bear being just a little off center. As mentioned you can work on the dark area around the eye. Otherwise, very good capture. |

Hi Joe, Nice capture, I particularly like the catch light in the rabbit's eye. I think the previous suggestions for cropping along the top and along the left side are good advice. The rabbit would be more prominent in the frame. |

Greetings Sheldon, Excellent composition, an innovative way of photographing a model. Color, lighting and background are all extremely nice and make for an unusually appealing photograph. |

Hello Peter, Although the "Ragged Victorian"s photograph is not complimentary to herself it is a perfect capture on your part. Extremely good focus, the viewer can see the flaws in her face and hands, the redness of her eyelids. Lighting is very good....excellent work. |

Hello John, I like your image particularly the shadows of the posts. I agree with Sheldon regarding stepping a little to the left when photographing. The shadows may have been a bit longer and added a little drama. |

Thanks for your comment. My usual post processing is with Photo Shop Elements and Nik software's Detail Extractor. It was a good day so I don't remember doing much in post. |

Hello Murphy, Enjoying your creative, colorful arrangement. The colors are a bright spot in my subtle, sunless days of the area in which I am living right now. A really interesting combination of glass pieces and colors. I imagine it was fun to compose. Kudos to You!! |

Hi Alane, You have presented us with a well done "documentary" type photograph. I think it is well done with lighting, composition, background and the interesting border that fits well with the subject. Photographing with group of people surrounding you is a definite challenge. I'm aware of that from my own experiences. Good work! |

Hi Charlie, A very appealing image. I like Calla lilies especially colored orange. The lily upon the black glass is of great interest to me. Never photographing on that material. I'm inclined to buy some glass for a winter project. Thanks for the idea! |

Barbara, The only suggestion I can make is to include more of a background. The berries are appealing especially with the drops of water on them. For me, it's "too up close". There is certainly appeal to the berries but in a larger container or a different setting. |

Hi Neal,
Sharp image with "eye appeal". I particularly like the background material with the bright colors of the building blocks. Good exposure and composition. Nice change of pace in choice of subject material. |

Welcome to Group 63, Barbara. The orange shades of your Orchid is stunning against the black background. Excellent focus, lighting and exposure. I do have one suggestion for photos with a black background. Seeing the background of the website is black a narrow stroke around the image in a color, which matches one of the colors in the photo, will separate the image from the background. |
