Yes, this is Milwaukee. The Domes are now endangered with leaks in all three structures. Temporary repairs have made while the deciding factor hinges on the cost of repair. Many differing opinions have been shared and discussed. |

Hi Brian, An interesting image and I like your choice of presenting it in monochrome. The girl looks moderately interested but the man has more interest in rolling a new cigarette even though it looks as though he has one in his mouth already. Good find. |

Hi John, An unusual subject with fine focus, good lighting and interest. I particularly like the bottom portion of the image. The colors and content all blend together nicely. The chains, ropes and buffers are all in harmony with one another. The bold color at the top of the frame is a distraction to me as previously noted. |

Hi Glenn, The Tetons and maybe Glacier.....nice photo vacation. Wonderful focus on the bear and it's surroundings.
You and your long lens did very well. I like the composition with the bear being just off center and in the left of the frame. I, too, would work with the bit of pine in the lower right of the frame as well as the blurry spot just behind the bear. Looks similar to one another. Otherwise the background is perfect.....rocks too. |

Hi Joe, Interesting water fall with a large rock diverting the falls in the center. It looks as though fall has not fully arrived in MA as there are only a few falling leaves. I prefer the stopped down effect of silky water over the falls but you do have a very nice capture here. I like the yellow leaves against the darkness of the moss covered rocks. Nice! |

Hi Peter,
Nice action shot not always easy to take. I like the composition and the expression on the Father's face. It sounds as though you have a sharp copy in your files. Decisions, decisions which one to use. |

Hello Neal, Interesting background for the scorpion which I like. It's sharp but appropriate. Good composition with the subject pretty much in the center of the frame which works well in this instance. Well done. |

Hi Charlie, Good change of pace with this month's image. I like the rim lighting and the misty vapors you added. You have met your creative goal. Black background is perfect with the thin stroke around the image. One little "quibble" for me....the vapor coming out of the top of the glass. I understand your point but for me if it were a hot beverage, appropriate. Dark, musty......maybe I'm not a connoisseur. |

Hi Barbara, Your work with flowers is admirable. In this case, I prefer the colored copy. Some of the petals show texture and others are smooth. Undoubtedly due to lighting. In the colored version it's acceptable but to me not so in the b&w version. I also like the square format with the thin stroke. |

Hello Alane. Very nice image. Good focus, composition and the addition of the bee is a bonus. I particularly like the background with it's subtle diagonal effects. So many of our invasive plants are attractive as is purple loosestrife.

Beautiful grouping of Zinnia's. All are "crisp" and inviting. I like the fact that you included the leaves so we have a natural looking background. The darkened edges of the frame add to the overall appearance of this outstanding image. |
