I like this image and it brings back long ago memories of a trip to the Smoky Mountains. You asked for input. The comments regarding the sharpness and over saturation could be considered. My comment regards the level of the mountains just beneath the cloud filled (lovely) sky. I am a real perfectionist about keeping straight lines. But....see what your opinion is. Pano, multiple images, stitched together, may it be possible? |

Extremely nice image. The solarization filter along with your other work made this photo really pop. The comparison between the original and the final is extraordinary. Like it a lot! The stroke around the image is the final touch. Consider lightening up the dark portion in the middle of the blossoms and it's perfection.

Very good post processing work. The background crop really makes the photo. Everything is sharp, colors are great and I think you either or almost caught one of the wranglers mid-air. So very nice! |

Very appealing photo with the two animals introducing themselves to one another. Good focus and nice background.
I am in agreement with the comments regarding the bluish color of the white fur of both animals. |

You do remarkably well hand holding your long lens and having sharp focus. I like the reflection on the leaf and in the water. I also like the subtle reflections of the background grasses in the water. Feather? Either in or out. |

Happy to have you joining us again this time with macro. I see dragon fruit in the store but have never purchased/tasted it. The front of the fruit is sharp with good details. Bill has good suggestions to use a smaller f stop and a tripod. The red against the black background looks good. |

What do I think? I guess I did not think when applying the rain filter's direction. Will keep your comment in mind for the future. Thanks again for the suggestion! |

Hi Shaji, Great insect photograph. Their colors are attractive and unusual to my eye. Good focus. Regarding the previous comments on the subject placement in the center of the frame, I, too, try to have my subjects a little off center.
But...that is in most cases. A rule, that is sometimes broken. Nice work!

Hi Neal, The background material, leaf, has just as much interest as the critters upon it. The sharpness of the entire image is almost unbelievable. Excellent! |

Hi Murphy, Perfectly pink lilies and fragrant too when seen in person. One of my favorites. I like the composition with the unopened buds in the upper right. Black background and the white slim border are the finishing touch. |

Hi Barbara, The lighting on the lily petals is exquisite. The whole flower is just glowing. The two longest pods are lit very nicely too. Good background and you left the flower intact for further admiration. Nice! |

Interesting subject, I have never seen colored pistachios before. Good choice of subject and background material. The glass with it's texture is perfect as does not detract from the subject, only adds a bit of interest. I am in agreement with Barbara regarding the color of the background. A little lighter would be better in my opinion. |

Hi Alane, Nice memento of an outing with family. Granddaughter will remember the day when the image is shown to her at an older age. I like the fact you did a close-up of her hands only. Good story. |
