Thanks for your comment. Good point. Harmony.....not there. I will look further and see if I can come up with another image. |

This is such an inviting image. Makes me want to take some time and "sit a spell". The lighting makes it especially appealing. The little window reflections you left makes for authenticity. The post processing work is very well done. Nice! |

When first looking at this image I thought of Shaikh. He was always looking for the hidden image in the image. Then I read your description and see you had the same thought in mind. We will miss him not only in this group but at the PSA conferences. He was such a kind and thoughtful man. |

Very nice capture with an interestingly colored sky which fits nicely with the color of the balloons. They formed an unusual diagonal pattern which was to your advantage. Great color, lighting and just a hint of their reflections in the water. Great. |

Hi Barbara, Here is my version of your rose. When comparing the two I almost prefer your original image over my version. There are so very many interpretations possible. After looking at your original image once again I think simply cropping along the top would make another version. Avoid symmetry? |

Hello Richard, Nice shot of the pretty periwinkle against the dark background. I like the composition with the subject just a little off center. |

Hi Barbara, Old, partially dried flowers make good subjects, in my estimation. You chose a good one as the rose is wholly intact. I like the background material you have chosen, plus the crossing stems. It would be my preference to have the rose just a little off center. But.....that is a totally personal preference. |

Hi Murphy. A simple composition does produce impact. The bright red color against the dark background is striking. Plus the raindrops on each leaf is a little unusual but welcome. I like the diagonal line of the leaves on the branch. They almost increase in size as they progress upward. |

Hi Alane: Perfect.....composition, lighting, placement of subject in frame and focus. Amazing, what some (non-photographers) would just bypass while we, as photographers, find interest and appreciate the simple things in nature. The colors all work together nicely. Nice "catch". |

Hello Neal: I like everything about this image, color/soft green with the white fluff about it and the dark seeds mixed in. I also like the clarity of the entire picture. The lighting is superb with some highlights. To me, it's perfect and I will return to view it again several times. |
