Sweet Harry......a great capture. I really like the composition with the blue mottled background and the white mat the cat is sitting on. Tail UP........he is thinking of his next move. |

What a unique pose you have captured. The baby couldn't be in a better position. Keep up the excellent work you do with birds and other subjects. Great you can master focus in another method than what you had originally planned for.
Looks good to me! |

Excellent work, Shaikh. Detail on the riders face is much improved. I like the bits of soil the horse has kicked up and the blurring of the spectators. Thank you for the details of your post processing. |

I believe you have a picture within a picture. Try cropping just above the elevated tree trunk. I like peeking under the arch. Great color! |

Very nice triptych. My favorite of the three images is the center one but each has a favorable aspect either clouds, trails and planes. Nice work on the presentation. |

My preference is the original version but......kudos for trying a new approach. And congratulations on an acceptance on the recent entry. Judges all have differing opinions and sorry to say "biases". Persistence paid off! |

Excellent focus on the bud and like the color. Red always attracts attention. Like others have mentioned I would like to see the background a little darker and mottled; less prominent. |

Hello Richard, Colorful image especially with the butterfly perched on a similarly colored flower. I would like to see a little more of the flower. Great focus and lighting.

Hi Gary, You and the Lensbaby met your objectives. Sharp focus and texture in the subject. It is difficult for me to understand what type of rocks you photographed. Could you share a little more as to type, jewel or whatever? I recently had a trip to the shores of Lake Superior. I know "rock hounds" visit there for the agates which on the outside appear as plain looking rocks. After being cracked open they reveal agates in interesting colors/designs that can be made into jewellery. |

Hi Neal, This spider looks like a grumpy old man to me, such detail is amazing. I like the lighting in addition to the composition and color and size of the stroke. |

Hi Murphy....Outstanding image. The colors are so very nice against the black background. Focus is sharp and you are right regarding impact. This image has it! And the some. |

Hi Alane, Congratulations on entering the Macro competition and best of luck. It's already a winner by being accepted as a finalist. You do present us with some unusual images. I see the "shoe exhibit" is coming to one of the nearby art museums. I may go to have a look and possibly bring the camera. |

Greetings.....to Murphy and Neal. I have made a change to my photo of this month. I cloned out the red flower in the lower right of the frame and cropped in from the right. I think this is what you both had in mind. I am interested in what the other group members comments will be as I rather like it with the red in the corner. I do feel it is helpful to have differing opinions! |
