9 Dec 20 Comment The rose is a beautiful color and placed nicely in the frame. The water droplets add to the image. I have to agree with David regarding the bokeh. To my eye they are too large and too bright. In particular the one on the left side of the rose. You did meet the challenge though. Dec 21st

63 Dec 20 Comment Hi Barbara, I am in agreement with Murphy and Neal. Very nice image. The color of the background texture and the carnation work well together. I also like the composition not only with the placement of the flower but with the back of the flower visible. Very good work! Dec 14th

63 Dec 20 Comment Excellent....I like the "out of bounds effect" as it sets this image apart from the crowd. Color, focus and lighting are superior. The black background compliments the colors of the subject. And, again the stroke pulls everything together in one nicely photographed subject. Dec 14th
63 Dec 20 Comment Nicely done. Good composition with the diagonal lines starting in the upper right corner. I like the subtle variance in color. Also, the visible texture of the feathers. A creative approach to an ordinary subject through the use of an extreme close up version of the subject. Dec 14th
