Hi Debbie, The black background in this image is perfect. It adds a bit of drama. The flower itself is interesting with it's multiple colored layers of petals. The center with it's delicate drooping tendrils is very well focused as is the entire image. Very nice! |

Lovely image. Wish I was there! You did well focusing under conditions, hand held and in the water. To me, some photographs are just a pleasure to look at and this is one of them. The colors, composition and subject matter are perfect and spark a feeling of contentment for me. |

Much improvement! I really like the color of the butterfly against the delicate pink of the flower. A good color combination. You did well cleaning up the background. |

Correction: In my haste to submit an image for this month I sent an image of Crown Fountain in Chicago mistakenly. Here is the image as it should have been presented. |

Nice creative ideas. The gerbera daisy is a good background, very colorful. And I like the reflection, also the composition. I am not familiar with the term "dandelion clock". Perhaps an explanation? I see a pleasing image. |

Hi Jesse, Great focus particularly being hand held and at a low ISO. I am wondering if you did some cropping. Personally I would like to see a little more of the beak in particular. I do think the entire image is cropped a bit too tightly. A good close up shot of a "long beaked" bird. |

Hi John, Best wishes to you and Carol. How nice to have a partner, plus a photography partner.
Very impressive fireworks image. Your crop and post processing work is well done. |

An amazing image taken under unheard of conditions. You must have a super steady other hand. Your camera probably is not a lightweight either. You did very well. Focus is right on and you have an interesting subject, good lighting as well. |

First thought that comes to mind...dynamic! Bright colors against a dark green background matching the green leaves and green buds is a dynamic combination. The droplets of water also add interest. Fine focus and a pleasing composition. Very nice image. |

Hi Lou, I see an interesting subject, a good composition, and fine focus in your image. I also like the combination of three colors. As previously suggested I would remove the white area in the upper right of the frame and either crop or clone along the left edge. He/she is a handsome looking specimen. |

Hi Neal, I like the plain white background you chose. I also like the shadow and the bit of texture in the center of the frame. It's "clean" looking and the viewer is not distracted in any way. The excellent focus on the visitor is easily appreciated. I also like the composition/placement of the subject in the frame. Excellent image!! |
