Very nice capture. Good focus on the bird and surrounding shrubbery. I also like the out of focus background material and its variation in color. Nice composition as well; the egret is positioned perfectly in the frame. |

Hi Shaikh. The "after" image is very well done. It has a dynamic look especially with the center player dressed in white. I also like the dust below the players feet. Good action photo. |

Allen.....Your image looks like an Owen Gromme print. The border is a perfect addition. The image itself is well done. I like the composition with the subjects being just below the center of the frame in blue water; framed top and bottom by the gray of the sky and gray of the water. So very nice! |

This is a really striking image. I can understand how it did well in competition. The metallic paper undoubtedly enhanced the photograph even more. Last month Shaik's comment to me was that I am really picky. I have to admit I am picky in regards to keeping lines straight. The church has a slant to it, as you have explained, however, it is bothersome to me. But certainly not to the judges and they have more clout than I do. Keep up with the B&W infrared, it really is impressive. |

I am in agreement with the previous comments regarding the removal of the light strip of color on the right side of the frame. Other than that you have presented a nice portrait.
Since being in this group the subjects of your photography has expanded tremendously. |

I see a great improvement of the original image. The sky colors are beautiful. I like Debbie's suggestion of using filters or masks to create a painterly image. As Allen stated, I don't see a way of making changes using traditional editing tools. |

Hi Paul,
Great focus on the spider. The eyes really stand out particularly with the catch lights in all four eyes. I am in agreement with cropping as other members have suggested. |

I like the damselfly's position grasping the edge of the leaf it is sitting on. Great focus and the shadow is a bonus. I have a differing opinion of the background leaves. I would consider removing all with the exception of the damselfly/leaf. To my eye they do not add anything to the composition. Might be a stronger photograph with a completely black background. No distractions. |

A great call to attention when viewing this image. The black background is perfect to accent the bright turquoise of the daisy. The added border ties everything together. All technical aspects are right on. Excellent work. |

Hi Murphy, Background is so very complimentary. The muted color pulls everything together. You do well with all of your florals. Your choice of flower is also interesting with a curve to it. Much better than a straight stem. You also shot from a good angle, looking up into the center of several of the blossoms. Great work! |

Hi Richard, You captured the "Wow" factor with this image. I really like the combination of colors. The yellow center of the flower is in sharp focus with the surrounding purple falling off a bit. My thought is that places emphasis on the sharply yellow center which is interesting in itself. Great! |
