I agree with your thought of cropping this image to show more of the eagles head. I see a nice background of greenery. I have admiration for people that shoot birds. I'll stick with flowers, they don't move as quickly. |

The new background is complimentary to the image. It works well with the limb Gulliver is perched on. Nice composition with his looking over the shoulder. I think almost everyone today enhances their photographs in some manner. Post processing is a skill. Ansel Adams dodged and burned his images. |

I really like this image. It shows creativity, has a good composition, with the eagle being in the lower left of the frame, the flag and the idea of adding the jet. The jet is bothersome for me. Perhaps as David has mentioned a smaller version? I find it hard to identify. Good focus on the eagle, its white feathers are outstanding against the darkness of the background. The gold beak and eyes are certainly highlights.

Very dramatic and cropped perfectly. I like how the image is made up of the storm clouds with just a small bit of ocean. Good choice of black and white. Very nice! |

After reading the comments of others regarding symmetry, I like the non-symmetrically of this image. The center of the image is not in the exact center of the frame but, to me, that fact adds some interest. The strong diagonal lines also add interest. |

Thanks Allen, Without knowing what I had in mind when I took the picture, I can see why a rejection. Good idea to remove the signature. I will not submit it in competitions; only for personal use as I do like it. |

Hi Patrick, So nice, we really don't have to go to the Chicago Orchid Show as there are great specimens here although not as many varieties. You did a wonderful job of post processing....will you give lessons? Such clarity and without a tripod. Excellent work!! |

Hi Murphy, Nice sharp image. The moth's color is in perfect harmony with its background. I like the composition with the moth head pointing to the upper right of the frame. The slight stroke separates the image from the background. Very nice work. |

Hi Paul, Impressive image. It does set me to wondering how you managed to click the shutter one handed with a spider perched on the other hand. Plus have the image sharp!
Eyes/head are phenomenal under those conditions. Great image. |

Greetings Neal, The center of interest ant is in sharp focus. The diagonal line the other insects are placed on is of compositional interest. The colors are all harmonious and the stroke completes the image. |
