Hi Shaikh, As you may know I entered a similar image of the Palouse last month. I would like to return in Spring. It's a beautiful place in my mind. Your post processing work is a definite improvement over the original. Good composition! |

This is an impressive image. I like how you have included the tree branches for a pleasing composition. The column of the lighthouse, color-wise, harmonizes very well with the sky. Good focus, textures visible. You might consider straightening the image. To my eye the tower looks as though it is leaning to the right....just a tad. |

Hi Allen,
This image is just as good this month as it was last month. Still prefer the image you worked on. |

Hi Debbie, The colors in this image are outstanding. Beautiful. I like the image a lot. If it were mine and I had a great deal of time, I would clone out some of the branches, mid frame along the left side. That would open up the center of the view. I especially like the reflections of the clouds and the little diagonal grouping of "weeds" about a third of the way into the frame. |

Hi John, I, also, am a loss as to why this image is getting mixed results. First off I am impressed with the perfect alignment of the fencing throughout the image. The focus is sharp, the players have expressive faces and the image tells a story. Have you entered the original color version of this photo? Perhaps you would get different results. |

Hi Audrey, Just visiting and found this lovely image of your Snow Tree. You very well might want to submit this to the "Battle of the Sexes" Chapter competition. It might be a winner for the women! |

Hi Neal, I always enjoy your impressive insect/arachnid shots. You say the technique is not difficult but you must invest a great deal of time in preparation of the subject, composition, set up of lighting, and making the photograph itself. Plus post processing. Your efforts are to be admired. |

Hi Rosangela, Another of your interesting finds. Extremely fine focus with good lighting. Amazing colors in the "sea animal". I noticed you did some cropping of the image. I hope you don't mind but I experimented with a different crop. See what you think. |

Hi Patrick, I agree with your thought that the center of the flower is the center of interest. It is sharply focused and well placed in the frame, composition wise. In the original image the center of the flower takes on a dark tone in the immediate center, which I prefer. It demonstrates an additional element of contrast. Good work! |

Hi Murphy, My preference is the Original photo. It gives my eye places to rest and the black areas accent the brilliantly colored leaves. I will make a suggestion.....I would fill in the original colors in the black area on the upper left of the frame. Several of the leaves are imperfect (broken) and to me they are too much of a contrast with the perfection of the accompanying leaves. Just my opinion.....either way a nice fall image. |
