Nice sharp subject. If it were to be isolated it would be even better. I, too, like car shows particularly specific parts, ornaments, grills, door handles, etc. |

I like the colors in the final image. Good work in post processing with more saturation in color and a good crop. |

As Allen suggested, a border around this image would work well.
Interesting, as we hardly ever see a bat close up and with its eyes open. You caught the catch light. |

Hi Jesse, This image, to me, is very well done and I like it; particularly the texture. I also like the lighting with the dark portion on the right side. It creates a mysterious appearance. |

Hi John, Looks familiar....I have an image of this structure taken in the daytime. Never got over there at night for the changing colors. Nice work. |

Good work Shaikh. You must have spent a great deal of time in selecting only the flower and stems. It was done perfectly. It truly has a New Look with the uncluttered background which is complimentary. I see good focus and a pleasing composition. (I think this is an orchid)

Hello Stephen, Thank you for your comment. This image is not mine. I suspect it belongs to the group facilitator, John Larson. It seems there is a problem with the website this month. |

Hi Pat, Your have posted several images from Shady Lane Greenhouse and they have all been well done. This one is especially appealing to me due to the formation of its center. I like the b&w version although both are nice. Good focus and position in the frame. Removal of probably unwanted artifacts along the right side of the frame could be considered. |

Hi Murphy, Although a weed, thistles have a certain beauty. Your capture is a beauty. I like everything about it! The silvery and green tones of the branches, the purple flower at the top of the stem with the bee perched upon it is perfection. Not to mention the green background. Great composition and sharp focus. |

Hi Dan, I like this composition but, as Neal suggested, I would crop more along the bottom of large green leaf. That leaf with it's raindrops is an interesting part of the image, it is unusual. You did good work with the previously busy background but maybe a little more work on the green stem would be an improvement. Good focus on the butterfly. |

Greetings Norman and welcome to this Macro Group. You have presented a colorful collage of fall colors. I like the addition of lichen and a feather to the bright fall colors. I particularly like the red leaf against the gray lichen. I see it as a center of interest. The yellow color in its center also accents the two yellow leaves on either side of it. A creative composition. |

A very impressive image. All of the colors in this image are complimentary to one another. Sharp focus on the subject with an out of focus background....a winning combination. I like the composition. |

Hi Rosangela: You have created an interesting insect image by cropping the original photo. I think your choice of crop was well done even though it meant loosing a parts of the wings. Focus is excellent as well as composition. I like the diagonal green line of shadow at the front of the frame. |
