Thanks Debbie,
Will work on it when I return from the PSA conference. Consider it some time. A lot of fun, tours, lectures, etc. |

Hi David, I agree with your critique. Before reading it I assumed you had used a flash. Very good focus on the butterfly and the flower it is perched on. With work on the background it will be even more attractive. |

Hi Shaikh, I have to agree with David in regards to focus. The two petals in the back are acceptably sharp. The flower looks well on the dark background. |

Very nice Allen! I like the square format and the soft blue of the water. Composition is good along with focus. |

Hi Debbie, Glad to hear you are entering some competitions! You have fine focus hand holding. The colors complement one another. The photo is out of the ordinary which is what the judges look for. (My experiences) Best of luck. |

Hi Jesse, You are right about the flower being pretty. Interesting with all three colors. The focus is well done. The white petals are pretty bright especially the lower one. I agree with David regarding the removal of the objects in the background. If this were my image I would remove all with the exception of the green stem at the bottom of the frame. It looks as though you photographed in bright sun? |

Nice panorama. The cloud compliments the image by being at the end of the frame. I like the strong diagonal line starting at the right border. I like the reflections on the water. I see good focus. |

Hi Pat....We missed one another at the sunflower field. I was there too. (Check out Group 9) I like your version, you did fine work of removing the white between the petals. The central portion of the seed head is nicely detailed. Good focus throughout. Also, good color and lighting. |

Hi Murphy, Lovely, this image could be placed on a holiday card. It is so nice, bright and cheery. Red and green are an attractive combination. The background, being a soft green, is complimentary to the flowers. Thanks for the explanation of your method regarding background improvement. I think the raindrops add to the image. |

Greetings Dan, Great focus on the bee itself. The soft green background is complementary. The cropped composition is also well done. As for the background directly behind the bee, I think it might be a challenge in post processing. The image looks good, to me, as is. |

Hello Neil, I like the background color and the bug's position in the frame. I have to admire your patience and tenacity in pursuing a wide variety of "bugs". All of your photographs are so well done. Have you ever worked with a nature center? Or shared your photographs with a similarly focused organization? |

Greetings, The black and white image is my choice of the two. It seems other members are in agreement. It is sharp and in good focus. The composition is excellent; not to mention attention getting. I like how you have almost filled the frame. Very good work. |
