I like your conversion to b&w. You captured the action very nicely. After David pointed it out I, too, see a bit of haloing around the players back. I like the ball in flight and the soft wrinkles in the players uniform. |

Beautiful with full plumage surrounding the body. I like the composition and the lighting. Good color and focus. Very, very nice. |

Good work, Shaikh. You can capture images of all sorts from birds to landscapes and all items in between. I see you brought out the brightness in the duck's eye; good work. I do agree with Debbie's comments regarding the lines in the background. Other than that, nice image. |

Another good job! I like your title. Seems a little foreboding. Don't mess with me! You have good focus on the bird and a nicely blurred background. I like the natural environment. Someone else might have walked by and not noticed him/her just sitting. The lighting is very nice. Good job. |

Nice shot, Jesse. You have left enough "breathing" room around the bird. The plain gray background is very nice; complimentary. It picks up the color of the beak. Good catch-light in the eye. Per Debbie's suggestion perhaps if you lighten the dark feathers at the bottom of the frame there would be more detail. But it's great either way! |

Hi Allen, Gorgeous photo. Peonies are a favorite flower of mine. I am familiar with Lensbaby but do not have the system. I see sharp focus in the middle of the flower but nicely blurred petals. The background compliments the main flower. The framing around the image makes it complete. Great!! |

Hi Rosangela, You met your goal with this image. The white petals look other-worldly to me. They are so translucent. You might want to consider Murphy's idea of a tighter composition.

Hi Neal, Once again you have presented us with a flawless image. Sharpness, lighting and interest are all present. I do like how you are presenting your images. The matting/borders used are excellent and give a good finished appearance to your work. |

Greetings Lisa: The antenna (?) of the moth is very sharply focused and is attractive as presented. It looks feather-like. I like the low/high key background. I tend to agree with Murphy in regards to sharp focus on the entire subject. To my mind the out of focus portion of the image causes confusion as to what it is and why it is part of the composition. |

Perfect Murphy! I love the soft pink of the flower against the pink of the background with bits of green mixed in. I also like the focus on both flower and leaves. Nature at it's best. The lighting is good; the highlights on the petals add to the composition. I also like the separation of four petals on top and two on the bottom. To me, the two lower blossoms of the top grouping seem to draw attention to the lower group of two. |

Hi Pat.....A very beautiful image for sure. WACCO competition, yes! The brilliant orange against the dark background is striking. Your focus is perfect. I really like the composition with the center flower being dominant in both size and position. The cropped edges are not bothersome to me. |
