I am in agreement with John in regards to cropping some of the foreground. I would leave some of the road as a leading line into the image. The lighting is good as well as the focus and composition. I think you can send an additional image by clicking on browse. Have the new image ready to go and click on submit. |

Hi Shaikh, I, too, like the cropped image better than the original. The reds and yellow against the deep blue sky are outstanding. The bit of sunlight on the upper yellow leaves are a definite plus. Nice! |

Allen, Your orchids are sharply focused from top to bottom. Very nice placement in the frame. I like the black background with the narrow white stroke. Good work! |

Hi Debbie, Another great photo of a feathered friend. All of your photos are excellent and being hand held you have even more of a challenge. You always meet the challenge! |

Hi Jesse, The members of this group have made their comments and I tend to agree in regards to the background. The bird itself is nicely focused and positioned well in the frame. Maybe add a sky and you'll have totally different comments. |

John, I like the scene, good composition, color and lighting. The diagonal line is of interest; especially with the bit of grass visible in the lower right corner. I, too, am not a fan of the palette knife in this case. But is it a change from the images we normally see. |

Hello Shaikh, Debbie, Jesse and John
I have three comments that are conflicting. Jesse and Shaikh agree the photo should be cropped. Debbie prefers to see more of the image.
John will have to be the deciding judge. What will the comment be? |

Hi Pat, Extremely nice image. I like your composition with the center of the flower in the lower right of the frame. The wavy lines of the petals add interest. Perfect focus and I like how you have filled the frame. Good work! |

Hi Murphy, You have given this image an appropriate title. The composition works very well with the mushrooms resting in the green moss. I like the simplicity of the image, two colors and one subject grouping with a fitting background. |

Hi Neal, I think your presentation is great. I like the inner and outer gray background with the thin orange stroke. I particularly like looking at the patterns of the translucent wings. Although I wonder what the "droplet" is on the bottom of the wing closest to the viewer. I might consider removing it. Otherwise, another finely focused and interesting insect. |

In reading all he comments I agree with Patrick and Murphy in regards to cropping along the top, the gray area. It almost detracts from the yellow, maroon and blue combination. I especially like the blue; it's so vivid. It highlights the yellow and maroon as it's placement is above and below those colors. |
