Thank you, Shaikh. It is much improved, you have created a whole different feel to the image. To me, it now looks like a good wide angle scene with an interesting foreground. The ice ball was a distraction as others have suggested. The increased saturation is also an improvement. Thanks again!

Very nice and you captured a star-burst at f9. The trees are interesting against the soft warm light. I particularly like the light patterns against the lower portions of the cypress. |

Your post processing work is noted. I like the composition better. Fine focus on this most unusual flower. You also improved the background. Very nice!

Lovely image. The many variety of orchids is endless. I just attended an orchid show at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. Great! I like the pink/white color of the orchid against the black background. The square format is complimentary to the composition. Good work! |

Hi Debbie, Gorgeous image. Great focus on the bird despite the conditions on a moving boat. I like the patterns on the water. The shoreline greenery encloses the scene. The bird is in a good compositional place in the frame. Very, very nice. |

WOW.....in your face. Good focus, color and lighting. The blurred background is complimentary. If you sharpen the eye it would be even better. |

Hi John, Great stop action shot. Your post processing works well. The use of the radial blur tool is effective. Good color and lighting with excellent focus on the player. Debbie mentioned the shoe and I noticed a portion of the hoop & net. I like the image and with a little more PS work it will be a winner. |

In retrospect this image is "more like a still life" as you suggested even though it was taken with a macro lens. I do enjoy doing still life photography and do a fair amount of it as a member of an Ikebana club. |

Greetings Madhu, Impressive image. I think you did well with your original post processing. Lisa's fine tuning is a plus. The lighting, composition and background are very well done. I think you made an exceptional capture especially under rainy conditions. The results are admirable! |

Hi Rosangela, Nice find; I like the green and yellow combination with the dark background. Regarding focus, I think the ivy portion of the image has acceptable focus whereas the lichen does seem to be less sharp. I do not understand how that is possible but that is what my eye sees. I do think you have an ability to see possible photo opportunities that others may miss. Good shot! |

Greetings Neal, You have made a great improvement over last month's image. Same subject but with better composition. The "less is more" approach works well and in my opinion, is true in this case.
I like the angled position of the lily with the stamens at a good place in the frame. I like a dark background, to me it makes the viewer see only the beauty of the subject. Technical qualities such as focus, lighting, and composition are just as they should be. Nice work. |

Hi Lisa, Great focus on the eyes, although I, personally, would like to see the sharp focus carried out in the body and legs of the little creature. I like the soft blue background, it compliments the color of the frog.
By the way....I see you and your husband will be part of an upcoming Mike Moats workshop. I've attended several of his events. They are always informative. We are privileged to have you in this group! |

Hello Murphy, Impact is the key word here. The yellow lilies against the dark background have impact. The greenish/yellow unopened lilies also make their contribution to the impact. The green leaves at the bottom of the frame are stabilizing and complete a wonderful composition. All technical qualities are right on. So very, very nice. |

Hi Pat, Focus stacking in this image has worked well. Everything is nice and sharp. The white and peach of the tulip stands out nicely against the black background. I would like to see a bit more background. To my eye it seems the tulip is enclosed in too small of an area. Scale in relation to content? Lighting is good; I like the silky appearance it has created in the white portions of the tulip. |
