I like the composition; all of the hat included and cropped at the neck. I also like the fact he is not looking at the camera but off into the distance. Technical qualities are good; lighting, focus and interest for the viewer. Mono was a good choice. Very nice work. |

Shaikh, You have given us a tough assignment. It's nearly impossible to find a way of improvement. However, after much searching (and Debbie's comment) I see a small imperfection. It's the tip of the petal on the left as one looks at the image. Almost missed the line on the front petal even after reading Debbie's comment. This image is a winner! |

Interesting image. I like the bright colors and your creative idea. After admiring your work, I came up with an idea of cropping the glasses at the water line. I think it gives more of an abstract feel to the image. Lately I'm into abstraction. But it sounds as though you have more choices of glasses and reflections to choose from. Good work! |

OK, will bear with you. This is a nice travel shot and will remind you of a good trip. But....I wonder if the computer is at fault for the tilt of Mr. Lincoln. Also, if given another chance you might include the writing at the top of the frame. Keep shooting! I do like the fact you have included people at the front of the monument. |

Hi John,
Very nice looking basket, creatively done. It certainly does not look like the original photo. I like how you have sharp focus on the curved part but an out of focus background. I also like the idea of turning the image into a monotone. Very good texture. |

Hi Debbie, I like much about this image. The people add interest and a bit of reality. The post processing work you have done gives an appearance of antiquity which matches the boat. Well done! Boat and background are harmonious. Good technical work and creativity are apparent. Fine work. |

Hi Lisa, I see you and your husband are partnering with Mike Moats and others at his photo conference in October. I always thought your images were special!!!
I've enjoyed a couple of his presentations and am familiar with his work. |

Hi Pat, I like the "busyness" of this image. Basically the whole frame is filled with orange petals and parts. The variations in color is very appealing. Focus and interest is good too. I do wonder about the white lines at the edges of several petals. Light striking the edges? If so, how can it be dealt with? I have sometimes used the clone tool, however, not always successful. Maybe you or another member can give tips. |

Lovely, looks like a jewel. Fine focus on the web and dew drops. The background shading is complimentary. Thanks for giving a few clues as to how to capture spider webs w/dewdrops. |

Very striking image. I like the high contrast effect. Sharp, very sharp focus. The colors work well together and I see an excellent composition. Could be considered minimalism. I like it! |

This image, as all of your images, has superb focus. The tiniest hairs are visible. I like the shadows the lights have created, I see them as a little added interest. The soft green of the background is complementary to the spider which has good placement in the frame. I have never looked at a Daddy Longlegs this closely. Very interesting body. |

Hi Rosangela, I see excellent focus on the tree trunk but cannot see a smiling lady with long hair. I may just not be in an all seeing imaginative mood today. The detail in this image is well defined. I would prefer more of an even color throughout. The white areas do not seem in keeping with the subject. However, this is only my opinion. May your creative thoughts continue. |
