David, I can appreciate the work you put into this image by combining the two images. The image itself is in good focus, nicely composed and has interest. For my taste, it is a bit too saturated. It reminds me of an artist who has ties to Wisconsin, Tom Uttrech. He paints large vibrantly colored nature canvases. I have seen his work hanging in the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Museum of Wisconsin Artists. He is highly regarded. |

John, Sorry to hear of your wife's ongoing health problems. Sincere wishes for her improvement. Regarding this month's image, I like your idea of combining the four shots into one image. Very fitting for Veteran's Day. |

Shaikh, I missed going to the conference this year. Italy instead! But I hope to go in 2019. I understand you received some well deserved honors. I have followed the advice given by you, Debbie and David. Looks better? |

Good work, Shaikh! I would have never thought of using the twirl tool on just one part of an image. Creative and "food for thought". I like the crop you did. Color and focus is excellent and the varying textures add interest. Maybe a little added saturation on the two main flowers? |

Really nice composite. I like how you composed the image with the large clown's face on an angle and the swinging clown upright. Of course, the pumpkin wishing everyone a Happy Halloween is the perfect greeting. You did a super job of post processing; resizing, combining and making adjustments. Very good! |

What a peaceful looking place; lush and inviting. I can see this image featured in a magazine article encouraging visitors to Florida or wherever. I like the reflections in the water and the composition with the fountain just off center. The whole image is well balanced with the dried leaves on the left side of the frame and the bit of red on the right. Well done! |

Very nice portrait of the little Fraulein. Sweet! Good focus, catch light in both eyes, good lighting and human interest. I like the plain background and the halo effect you added. If I were to nit pick, I would suggest there be a little more room at the top of the frame. Otherwise, perfect! |

Hi Pat, Another well done image from the Roman K. workshop. I like the composition in this image with the yellow portion coming diagonally from the two petals in the lower left corner of the frame. Iris make for a good photograph and also in a floral arrangement. Nice work! |

Hi Lisa, Now that you mentioned it, I can see a face in the leaf, a tiny little nose, two eyes and a turned down mouth that somehow is smiling. Nice bright colors with good lighting. A creative approach using the brilliant fall colors. |

Hi Murphy, I loved this trio of asters as presented last month with the yellow centers surrounded by the bright blue petals. The conversion to b&w was also appealing....but by adding the magenta centers this image has become outstanding. Thanks for sharing your creativity. Hmmmm! |

Very nicely focused subject. The yellow of the spiders body fits very well with the blue background. I also like the composition with the spider in the center of the frame, sometimes thought of as against the rules. In this case it is perfect. Extremely nice image with good lighting. |

Hi Rosangela, The body of this butterfly is extremely sharp. The texture in the wings is so well focused it almost looks cloth-like. I like the soft muted background; the colors are complementary to the brightly colored butterfly. Very nice! |
