Allen.....Thanks for your comment. Because I am so familiar with the Art Museum I didn't think to include more of the building in this image. The "sail" part is most interesting as it opens and closes at specific times of day. I'm quite sure Shaikh was in agreement with you when he made his comment. |

The beach looks exotic but then I live in Wisconsin. I like how you have cropped the image....just a bit of blue sky. How convenient the photographer was wearing a blue shirt. I like the swirls, textures and footprints in the sand. The diagonal lines of the grasses add to the allure of the scene. |

Lovely image, Shaikh. I think you made the necessary improvements. I like the subdued background. The viewer gets just a hint of what is there, a bud or leaf? It creates interest. White or cream color against a black background is always stunning. |

Sweet...you clicked the shutter just at the right time. Plus you captured the water drop on Mr's beak. I like the reflections and shadow effects in the water. Very, very nice. |

Congratulations on winning a first place with the sunflower photo! Fred is a definite winner, too. I can understand why other owners are interested in having you photograph their horses. Post processing is superb! I really like the composition with his nose and mouth just over the stall door.
The only suggestion I can make is to clone out the black lines on either sides of the frame. Easy to fix. Otherwise outstanding!! |

Good capture.....like the close up. If the focus were sharper I think your image would be even more appealing. |

John, I admire all the work you put into this image. The background compliments the intense black and white of the the subjects. You have exceptional focus on the lettering. The merger of the neck of the horizontal bottle against the left vertical bottle is bothersome to me. I think the only way to have avoided that is by changing the composition somewhat. The black and white is certainly eye catching. |

Greetings and welcome to Macro Group 63. We will look forward to seeing your images and the comments you will be making on the group submissions. Your first image is impressive, particularly the sharp focus. I like the composition just showing the front portion of the grasshopper. Very nicely lit with a non competitive background. Again, welcome. |

Hi Pat, I like the image. The bee is nicely placed on the cone flower, good composition. Both bee and center of the flower are in good focus. I'm not sure why the upper petals have a "halo" effect. Something to do with post processing?
You have a steady hand to have captured such sharpness hand held with a low ISO and relatively slow shutter speed. |

Hi Murphy, Spring is a special time for photography. Nature gives us such pure, fresh colors and new growth. Your image captures it all. Regarding comments on focus, not a problem for my eye. The top leaf is in the back of the photograph, further away from the viewer's eye and it's okay to not be as sharp as objects closer to the viewer. |

To me, chameleons are so prehistoric looking but somehow cute. High key with good color and focus. Having a human finger in the frame gives us a sense of scale; I had no idea of how small this chameleon is. |

This month your image looks to me like a scary creature. I can see two eyes, the top of a head and a long beak. The cloaked arms are embracing what? Two goldfish? My imagination is really working. With this image you have given us a thought provoking exercise. |
